One of Comporta’s many assets is its unspoiled natural beauty. Comporta is known for its breathtaking beaches, with white sand dunes stretching for miles, clear turquoise waters and a sense of preserved wilderness. Comporta’s beaches are often considered the most beautiful in Portugal, with their pristine, secluded charm offering a serene, tranquil setting for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The garden of our house is regularly treated with non-toxic biological products against mosquitos and candles, plugs and burners are at your disposal.
Our House
Casa da Pipa is composed of one mastersuite with a large private terrace and an exceptional view, three en-suite bedrooms with their own private bathrooms and terraces.
Its dining area and outdoor chill out space allows you, depending on the weather or your mood, to share good meals in groups, inside or outside.
Casa da Pipa is surrounded by a lush, sandy garden and grassy fields offering many secluded areas where those in need of peace and quiet can find a bubble of serenity away from the group.
The swimming pool area and solarium are south-facing, so guests who come to enjoy the sun will find a blissful spot at any time of the day. When the evening arrives, the chill out area is the best place to enjoy the calm and the tranquility of the end of the day, to admire the pink sky that the sun leaves us on its departure. The lights in the garden and chill out area are then switched on to let you enjoy the sweet Comporta nights.
The fireplace make it irresistible throughout the year, ideal for off season breaks.
All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito screens, reversible air conditioning (cold and hot) and fans.
Wifi connection (fiber) everywhere !
For those who might be worried about mosquitoes, you should know that we are not much concerned because our house is much closer to the ocean than to the rice fields.

The Heated Pool
A sunny south faced terrace with a stunning private heated swimming pool with automatic cover is available. The concrete pool was finished with aquabright onyx for an exquisite look and feel.
The spacious deck terrace has an elevated position to ensure maximum privacy. Covered in pine wood, it’s an ideal place to sunbathe and relax.
From here you can watch the sunset while hearing the sound of the waves of ocean.
The controled temperature pool allows nightswimming under the starry Comporta sky.
The Garden
The concept of Casa da Pipa’s garden is to merge with the surrounding territory.
All the species were carefully chosen and local plants were used for sustainability purposes and to perfectly flow with the surrounding environment, aiming for effortless, unpretensious landscaping.
The land was also sculptured like a sand dune to blend Casa da Pipa in this beautiful, wild and natural surrounding.
The Beach & Surroundings
Casa da Pipa is just a few meters away from the beach. It’s a perfect walking distance even if you have small children or in the company of older legs. There is a large sidewalk that makes this a very safe walk. You can also join the beach by crossing the fields when leaving the private domain.The beach is so close that you can enjoy the sound of the waves almost constantly.
Pego Beach or Praia do Pego, chosen for several years as the best portuguese beach, for its water quality and clean silky sand, is the closest to Casa da Pipa !
Pego Beach is a very long sand line that can provide great privacy if you are looking for it. This is the perfect place to get away from the crowds and get into the wild. There as almost 40 kilometers of silky sand with untouched dunes and preserved Nature to enjoy.
Some call this place the European Hamptons. Maybe because of the stunning beaches and wild landscape or due to the relaxed and laidback vibe. The beachfront restaurants also contribute to this mood.
Nearby you also have Carvalhal beach, Comporta beach, Alberta Nova beach and many wild, deserted spots to explore. The Comporta beach area is basically a single, continuous sand line that goes on for more than 40 kilometres from Troia to Sines.
Comporta is a magical place, exploding with wildlife all year around. It’s the perfect spot for those who also love nature or outdoor activities like sailing, surfing, fishing, cycling or birdwatching.
Besides the mesmerizing surroundings, other experiences can take your breath away.

Casa da Pipa is fitted with both cool epoxy floors and reversible air conditioning for the summer and for the winter months ensuring comfort all year round. The huge fireplace is cosy on cooler days and winter nights, while our infinity pool is the most inviting way to cool off and spend an afternoon during the hot summer months.
A fully equipped kitchen including a Bosch induction cooker and two Bosch ovens (multifunctional and micro-wave) for long meals spent savouring local flavours with family and friends. A blender, a Nespresso machine, and a juicer are convenient additions while the large family-style fridge will keep wine cool for balmy nights.
Cupboards are filled with ceramic plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, linen napkins and serving dishes as well as basics for cooking such as salt and pepper and local olive oil. You have it all at Casa da Pipa.
In the bedrooms, European plugs and hairdryers are ready to use in each bedroom so there will be no arguing about who gets to get ready first…!
If you’re feeling like an evening off, a flat-screen ‘cinema’ with access to Netflix sits waiting in the library, and for those ‘working from home’ high-speed (fiber) wifi will ensure a line to the outside world should you so wish to connect with it. A library of books and magazines sit patiently on the shelves for those who do not. The house also has a Bose surround speaker system for listening to sweet sounds as time passes you by.
While you stay at Casa da Pipa it is recommended that you rent a car to explore the surroundings. Use it to go deeper into the expansive surroundings, hidden countryside roads, and exclusive access to the rice paddies of Comporta, an experience of natural beauty not to be missed.
